Do not use in areas at risk of fire.
Unlock the device: To unlock the device, turn the power switch in a clockwise direction (position: 'ON').
Turn on (ignite): To ignite the flame, press the on switch firmly. If the flame fails to light, press the switch once more. For a permanent flame, slide the 'OFF' switch forwards while pressing down the power switch.
Regulate the air supply (flame intensity): You can regulate the intensity of the flame via the air supply. To do this, turn the air adjustment wheel to adjust the air supply until you have achieved your desired flame.
Regulate the gas supply (flame length): To control the length of the flame, turn the glass supply regulator towards
+ (longer flame) or towards
– (shorter flame).
Turn off : To turn off the device, slide the 'OFF' switch backwards in the direction of the arrow.
Secure the device: To lock the 'Caramello' blowtorch, turn the power switch in an anticlockwise direction to the locked position (position: 'LOCK').
Refilling fuel (only in well-ventilated areas): Important: Turn off the device and make sure that the flame has gone out! For refilling the fuel, please only use commercial, high-quality lighter fluid (butane gas, triple refined). Turn the device over; place the gas filler on the filler valve on the underside of the device. Push the gas filler into the filler valve. If the gas settles on top of the valve in liquid form, the device's tank is full and you can stop adding more.
Important: Before using the device again, please wait three minutes for the excess gas to clear.
